Hyundai set to unveil ‘New York Concept’ next week

Hyundai’s bringing a new concept car for their luxury ‘Genesis’ brand to the 2016 New York Auto Show next week. The 4-door sports sedan is rather fittingly called the New York Concept, and while the automaker doesn’t have many details about the vehicle yet, a teaser image shows that it’s sharply styled.

Hyundai says the New York Concept’s design offers a preview of the brand’s future products. If that’s the case, they have the potential to look very good indeed – although we hope that slightly awkwardly shaped front grille gets a bit of attention. The LED headlights also slant into the centre to give the front end both a menacing and highly modern look.

Hyundai have also provided a teaser video, which showcases the gills just behind the front wheels and narrow tail lights, which match well with the front. There’s also a brief glimpse at the futuristic interior where the steering wheel looks more like a flight yoke.
