The Grand Tour spotted filming in Detroit

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and the entire team from The Grand Tour were recently spotted filming in Detroit, shooting scenes for an upcoming episode of the show’s third series.

The trio were spotted driving along Grand Boulevard in front of the historic Packard Automotive Plant. Rather fittingly, the vehicles they were driving all originate from Detroit – the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, Chevrolet Hennessey Exorcist Camaro, and Ford Mustang RTR.

But if they were hoping to keep all of this under wraps they couldn’t have picked a worse spot to film – as it just to happened to be directly on Detroit-based automotive news site Motor1.com‘s door step.

As seen in the video above, the team had the local police and fire services involved, and the entire street was blocked off to public traffic.

It isn’t known at this stage when The Grand Tour Series 3 will kick off, but a November / December 2018 start is a safe bet. We can’t wait!
