The Grand Tour is giving away free heads to UK residents

During the past couple of months, you might have spotted or read about the giant heads of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May appearing in various places around the world. The almost 2.4M / 8ft tall sculptures have travelled as far as Australia, and were recently spotted in Los Angeles when a helicopter dangled them over the Hollywood sign.

They also visited landmarks like the Mann’s Chinese Theater, The Pantages Theater, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Roosevelt Hotel, Sunset Boulevard wide, Hollywood Boulevard wide and the Santa Monica Pier.

But now they’re back on UK soil, and The Grand Tour wants to give them away to UK residents, albeit temporarily.

“To celebrate the last episode of season one of The Grand Tour, we’re giving UK fans the opportunity to win one of the three giant heads of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May,” reads Amazon.co.uk. “The Giant Heads will be placed in the winner’s garden or outdoor space for two weeks, and the winner will also receive an Amazon Echo, a Fire TV stick and a The Grand Tour t-shirt.”

So if you’re based in the UK and own a plot of land which is “suitable for viewing on a national news network”, all you have to do is upload a photo of your garden to Twitter, using the hashtag #GiveMeHeads and you’ll be in the running to receive one of the three heads.

You’ve got until January 29th to enter, Grand Tour fans – so get to it!

What is the point of this exercise ? bit idiotic. I am sure they can do marketing in some better ways.

I’d get the head and then sell it 😛 When they come looking for it I’ll say it got stolen, when they inevitably bring up the listing on ebay I’ll say, “oh there it is” xD

Also there is a missing space between “were recently”. First paragraph, second to last line, first word.
