Chris Evans has been spotted with F1 ace Jenson Button driving a green McLaren 675LT, as they filmed for the next series of Top Gear at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey this week. They were also joined by someone in a Stig outfit, who The Mirror suspects might have been a man they spotted trackside last week with arms folded.
Evans started filming last month after taking over from Jeremy Clarkson, and insists his show will build on the previous version, the world’s most watched programme with 350 million viewers a week. He said: “We will keep some things I like but won’t throw the baby out with the bath water.”
Evans will be sole host and has also revealed he won’t present the show from a main studio. He has been inviting A-listers to appear, including motorbike fan George Clooney. Others who could star include model Jodie Kidd, DJ Zoe Ball and actor Philip Glenister.
