LIVE STREAM: An Evening With Top Gear

You can watch the entire “Evening with Top Gear” event right here at 21:00 GMT this Sunday 18 January. If you live outside of the UK, keep an eye on the countdown timer in our sidebar to help determine when you should tune in!

Yep, for the first time ever, the chaps will appear in front of a live audience in London, to answer questions from across the globe and showcase clips from the new series.

“Other globally popular television shows have cunning ways of launching their new seasons, such as world tours and the like,” explains Jeremy. “But I thought of an easier way to let the planet know we’re back – the interweb!”

“Fond as I am of passport control queues and restricting my carry-on liquids to 100ml, I much preferred the idea of driving one mile from my home in London to celebrate this series with fans everywhere at the same time,” he added.

Hammond, geed up by the prospect of spending his Sunday evening with Jeremy, said: “It’s important that we remind everyone that Top Gear is back, because I feel we’ve been starved of attention lately. I’m looking forward to talking to fans from around the world and finding out what exactly appeals to them about watching three middle-aged men repeatedly fall over.”

James May added: “Using the internet to talk to our fans from around the world is a brilliant idea. It’s exactly what the internet is for. In fact, I’m not sure why I have to drive to a Victorian theatre and sit on an uncomfortable chair to do this. Someone hasn’t thought this through.”

  1. God Bless you man. For having this wonderful site, so i can feast on the awesomeness of my 3 heroes! You can never find Top Gear in the US. I hate them for that. Again thank you so much for doing this frankly, big community service.

  2. Really enjoyed the show i look forward to seeing Jeremy and James try to save Richard in Canada that looks cool also i didnt know ed sheeran does Not have a driving licince does he Not know how johnny vagus and jack whithall did when they where on TopGear anyway should be funny regardless (Love ed by the way should be a great guest like Mick fleetwood was)

    • I’m kind of annoyed that they’re not doing a traditional Top Gear road trip in Canada. It’ll be cool to see something different but they could’ve done that in the UK. Again, would’ve been cool to see all three in three separate pickups adventuring around British Columbia as opposed to just May and Clarkson with Hammond providing what I assume they hope will be comic relief.
