Top Gear

Series 22 final episode to air June 28th

The BBC has announced today that Top Gear will return on Sunday June 28 at 8pm, with an extended episode to wrap up Series 22.

As we previously reported, the episode will feature two films which were shot for Series 22, but haven’t yet seen the light of day due to the show being pulled off air following fracas-gate.

The first film sees Jeremy, Richard and James living the lifestyle of traditional classic car buffs, acquiring a Fiat 124 Spyder, Peugeot 304 Cabriolet and MGB GT before setting off an adventure incorporating brown beer, breakdowns (inevitably) and attending a car show where everything goes wrong.

In the second film sees the boys attempt to become ‘lifestyle leisure enthusiasts’ with the help of some very ratty old 4x4s. Armed with a budget of just £250, they each purchase a high-mileage, low-quality SUV – Clarkson a Vauxhall Frontera, Hammond a Jeep Cherokee and May a Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin – before embarking on a series of gruelling challenges, including a battle with the Stig’s Leisure Activity Cousin, which climaxes with a race that has a terrifying penalty for the person who loses.

It’ll air in the UK at 8pm on Sunday June 28, BBC2. We’ve also updated the countdown ticker in our sidebar to help international viewers figure out exactly when it is going to air.To pass the time until then, check out the episode trailer below.

For international fans please check your local TV listings for scheduling information in your country.

Because this news about Evans coming out today it seems all to close to last Friday’s TFI , so I’m other words it’s like that was a TV screen test before giving him the nod. Just hope he doesn’t fill the shows with ferraris as that’s his thing , also I’m guessing he can no longer buy anymore rare ferraris as he has broken their rule about no la Ferraris to go around the test track .

HELL YEAH!

Also, Evans is the absolute last person I’d want as a TG host, he has a dreadful taste in cars and is by no means funny or entertaining. R.I.P TG :'(

I just really want the guys to announce their new show soon. I want it to absolutely kill Top Gear in the ratings.
