Mike is actually a decent guy who adopts a certain persona on camera to provide a foil for the mechanic (whether that be Edd or the equally capable Ant). Mike gets a lot of stick from viewers who don’t realize the amount of time and effort he puts into the show off camera. Sure, the mechanics get the glory, but Mike makes the show happen.
Btw, this Alfa episode was pretty good – the certainly did a better job with this Alfa than they did back in Season 4.

Brewer needs to learn to speak properly.

I can’t watch it, I can’t stand Brewer, his ‘personality’ irritates me and why did he never learn to talk properly? He talks like the three (he’d say free) year old, he says fing and frottle, it’s just pathetic baby-talk.

Brewer seems to think it’s the “Mike Brewer Show” when in reality no-one watches it for his segments, that stupid handshake & his wide-boy used care salesman persona. People watched it to see Ed China fix the cars, now he’s gone (subsequently slagged of by Brewer) and replaced by Ant Anstead who’s ok but also drifts into baby-talk like Brewer.
