As-new McLaren F1 for sale with just 2,800 miles

It isn’t often that you’ll see a McLaren F1 supercar for sale on the market, like the one you see here. But what makes this one even more special is the the fact that it is in concours condition with just 2,800 miles on the clock. One could even say that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for serious car collectors.

As the low-mileage might suggest, this particular McLaren F1 is in showroom condition and is being sold by McLaren Special Operations’ Heritage Division. It is one of the last McLaren F1s ever built, and according to the British automaker, this chassis #69 was the 60th F1 built in Woking, near the end of the vehicle’s production run in 1998. It looks stunning, painted in Carbon Black with matching 17″ magnesium wheels.

The black theme continues on the inside, with a black suede interior and a black and red leather driver’s seat – centrally located of course. McLaren are selling this particular F1 with all the goodies the original owner received when they took delivery. That means fitted luggage, a lightweight titanium toolkit and box, all the books and papers, and of course, the numbered Tag Heuer watch. Essentially, you’re getting a brand new 18-year old car with everything that originally came with it.

As for the price? Well, if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it. But for those who are interested and have the means to drop a seven-figure sum on this highly collectable supercar, you can contact McLaren’s Special Operations Division for details.

The F1 is my all time fav car. I want this so very badly. Though I don’t recall there being a black body with black wheels. There’s only been 1 made with black wheels and it was white. If memory serves the white one belonged to a Chinese bloke at one point but he sold it.

This one would look even better with the thin red door stripe like the one on Jay Leno’s F1.
