Hennessey’s HPE750 Camaro SS hits 202 mph

American tuning house Hennessey Performance have taken the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS up to a staggering 202mph (325km/h), and luckily for you they got it all on film.

It’s all thanks to their new HPE750 package, which overhauls the Camaro SS’ 6.2L V8 by adding a supercharger running 7-psi of boost, CNC ported cylinder heads, new headers, an upgraded camshaft, a new intake and a new engine management system. The result of all this is 560kW (751hp) of power and 872Nm (643lb-ft) of torque. Hennessey say it’ll do 0-60mph in just 3.1 seconds, and cover a standing quarter mile in 10.7 seconds.

I love the camaro but Hennessey are slacking. That much power and only a top speed of 202 and a 0-60 of 3.1. I think they need a new gearbox.
