Pagani Huayra Roadster may break cover in August

Pagani may have just showed the new track-focused Huayra BC at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, but rumours are swirling that we might see another variant of the already-exotic Huayra in just a couple months.

We’re taking this with a grain of salt, but CarBuzz has reported that multiple un-named sources within Pagani have confirmed that a roadster version of the Huayra will make its debut at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It was always inevitable that the Huayra would lose its roof at some point, but we’re not exactly sure why it has taken this long.

The Huayra roadster is apparently  “in the final stages of development,” and other than losing its roof, won’t be all that different than the hardtop Huayra. Without a roof, however, that does mean the car’s gullwing doors will have to go. You can expect the car to be a little heavier and the suspension to be softer, too.

Only 100 units will reportedly be built, but at least three quarters of those have already been sold. Interestingly, there’s also a rumor of a Huayra BC Roadster that’s coming in another few years.
