The Grand Tour

Your first look behind the scenes of The Grand Tour Series 2

Series 2 of The Grand Tour is nearly upon us, and if these newly released images from Amazon are anything to go by, it is going to be an absolute cracker.

The first two images show Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May returning to their roots with a classic Cheap Car Challenge, as they explore the mountain ranges of Colorado in three used Jaguars.

The shots also show the boys in a spot of bother in Mozambique, with May’s Mercedes and Clarkson’s Nissan stuck in the mud. Richard Hammond can also be seen wearing a motorcycle helmet in the background, which brings us to our next point…

This episode is bound to be quite eventful after it was revealed earlier this year that Hammond was knocked out after falling from the bike and hitting his head. He lay unconscious on the road in remote Mozambique, miles from medical help.

Mozambique was also the country where James May was able to find another friend. He looks delighted to have discovered a fourth member of the team in his car.

Hammond was also snapped here causing havoc on a golf course in Dubai, driving the infamous Ripsaw EV2 Luxury Super Tank. Because why not?

The new season of The Grand Tour will see the trio visit more locations than ever, before returning home to pitch their studio tent in the Cotswolds, UK. The trio will spend over 100 days across four continents, racking up more passport stamps from Croatia, Mozambique, Dubai, Colorado, Switzerland, New York, Spain and many more exotic locations around the world.

The images will also be featured in a new book, The Grand Tour Guide to the World, published on October 31 by Harper Collins, and priced at $29.99.

The Grand Tour returns to Amazon Prime Video later this year.
