Episode Guide

In a varied episode, Richard Hammond is at the Eboladrome to drive the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage and find out if the tiny British company has made a sports car that can match the mighty Porsche 911 at last.

James May is in a historical frame of mind as he looks back at the cars driven by the astronauts of the ground-breaking Apollo moon missions and takes a spine-tingling ride in Neil Armstrong’s actual Corvette.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Clarkson embarks on an elaborate and extremely thorough test of the Citroen C3 Aircross as he attempts to demonstrate to his sceptical colleagues that it is spacious, versatile and better than an elephant.

Clarkson is utterly talking nonsense about the Pantera,he said Pantera is the ultimate bad guy’s car. However, from original Cannonball 1976 to Vega$,Pantera is just a 70s style cool supercar, nothing makes it bad.If they want something evil,TVR suits better

Same, but funny that Pantera use a GM LS7 V8 with over 500HP,while IRL standard Pantera use a Ford Cleveland 351 V8 all through its life. Not very stock, but LS swap everything is a trend now

Good Episode, another reminder of what we’ll miss in future series. Clarkson’s test of the Aircross was hilarious, Hammond’s review of the Vantage was fantastic and May’s segment on Apollo 11 was awe inspiring. Although I love their big trips together, sometimes it’s nice when each goes away and does a separate film. My heart broke when the Pantera exploded, Andy Chen
