Full Top Gear presenter line-up announced

The full Top Gear presenter line-up has finally been announced by the BBC. Joining Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc will be racing driver Sabine Schmitz, YouTube star Chris Harris, F1 boss Eddie Jordan, motoring journalist Rory Reid and of course, The Stig.

That’s right, a total of 6 presenters… well, 6 which talk anyway. In my opinion, this is a rather bold move – as juggling 6 presenters might make the show more unfocused, or segmented. Put simply, it’ll be difficult to give everybody enough screen time while also attempting to establish a solid base for the show. It might end up feeling more like Fifth Gear, not Top Gear.

What we don’t know just yet is how all of the presenters will work together. It has been previously reported that the show will work in a Pyramid structure with Evans at the top and the likes of Sabine, Harris et al further down the order as semi-regulars, but we’ll have to wait and see exactly how it’s all going to fit together.

Wasn’t Adam Corolla and the fat guy from /drive in a car show that also had 42 hosts/presenters?.
Also what the hell are the stylists going for?

6 is too many. I’d rather watch 60mins of the Stig doing stuff on camera. And by ‘stuff’ I mean sitting down completely still in utter silence as the Stig often does. Or sliding around the track in a vette or a jag or something.
