Replacing the Mitsubishi Magna’s 6G74 Timing Belt, Water Pump & More!

Join me for a project that took over 4 weeks on-and-off… performing a major service on my Mitsubishi Magna Ralliart’s 6G74 3.5L SOHC V6. Replacing the Timing belt, tensioner, water pump and more. It’s actually ridiculous how much work is involved to simply get to the water pump. Covers have to be removed, two accessory belts and their tensioners removed. Harmonic balancer off, alternator completely removed, and then finally you can remove the belt tensioner and the belt itself. Still, I learnt a lot and I am no longer scared of the process.
