Smoke Testing My AU Falcon Turbo for Boost Leaks

Smoke testing is one of the best ways to find hidden boost leaks in a turbo engine, especially when you are chasing tuning issues, idle problems, or inconsistent boost. In this video I put my AU Falcon VCT Turbo through a full smoke test to check the entire intake system for leaks. From the turbo inlet and intercooler piping through to the throttle body and intake manifold, smoke testing makes it easy to spot leaks that would otherwise be almost impossible to see.
