đź’ˇHalo LED Fog Lights for BA/BF XR6 & XR8!

I’ve always wanted a set of halo-style fog lights on my BA XR6 Turbo, but there were no good solutions available… until now! Ozeparts have released new replacement fog lights for BA & BF XR6 & XR8 Falcons which are a complete drop-in replacement for the factory lights.

Compatible with:
Ford Falcon XR6 XR8 BA & BF
Ford Territory SX & SY Series 1 (SY Series 2 not supported)

Installation is easy and it’s up to you to decide how and when the LED halo turns on. For me, I decided to wire it in with the parker lights and I was very impressed with the results.

  1. I have had a pair of these halo foglights for a few months now and I have a problem.

The passenger side lens has cracked, near vertical. I thought maybe there was a imperfection in the glass and it cracked when I turned on the foglight itself (I realise the old foglight globes got fairly hot in operation and this can stress the glass)

So anyway I sent the light back and one parts were pretty good and sent me out a new one. It’s been in for about a month and bam, it’s happened I’m the exact same way. A near vertical crack once again. I’ve been over cautious thus time and not even used fog lights, just the halos.

First time I can understand but this is clearly a recurring problem.

I love the look of these lights but I don’t want this hassle if it’s going to be a common thing.

Has anyone had a similar problem or should I message ozeparts and give it another go?

    1. Can confirm I’ve had a driver’s side one crack vertically. I ordered a new pair, and the passenger one (brand new in box) was already cracked. Not really sure whether it is worth pursuing.

  2. I’m thinking about getting these halo fogs for my Ba Xr6 but I’m not sure how I should go about wiring the led lights up. If you wire them into the parker lights then you will also have your tail lights on during the day which I don’t want. The other problem is that will the led lights not be full brightness during the night? I want my led lights to be able to turn off or dim down when my headlights come on.

I saw the drl controller you showed briefly in the video but I’m not sure if this is a good option and I’m not 100% sure how to wire that whole thing up.
