Today we’re replacing the factory speakers in my AU2 Fairmont Ghia with some tasty Kenwood KFC series speakers in 5×7″. To top it off, I also added some sound deadening sheets to the inside of the doors in an effort to reduce road noise and increase the sound quality of the speakers.

AU wagon after 550k of mainly caravaning without major incident, it is rusty and leaks when it rains. So I am upgrading to a 2005 BA with half the kms. My question is I note that your AU has the door spears, I am wondering how they are fitted. I have the opportunity to buy a BA set but don’t know if they would fit. My car is at a mechanics who is replicating my AU, heavier rear leafs, trans cooler bullbar etc etc, so I have no access currently. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
