Car batteries are one of the most overlooked items when it comes to car maintenance – and often by the time you realise something is wrong it’s too late! So today I’m showing you a simple way you can keep an eye on your battery’s health and how to figure out whether you should consider replacing it pre-emptively.

Car batteries love being kept in a fully charged condition (12.7 – 12.8V) and the further they stray from this voltage, the quicker they will begin to corrode internally and have a reduced service life.
